٥- قاعدة أُجُوْهٍ و إِشَاحٍ

If:
- A و with a dhamma or kasra in the beginning of the word
- Or a waw with a dhamma in the middle
then
- Permissible to change the waw to a ء
Example:
| وُجُوْهٌ | ——> | أُجُوْهٌ |
| وِشَاحٌ | ——> | إِشَاحٌ |
| وُقَّتَتْ | ——> | أُقَّتَتْ |
| أَدْوُرٌ | ——> | أَدْءُرٌ |
Note: it is rare to change a و with a fatha to a ء
Example:
| وَحَدٌ | ——> | أَحَدٌ |
| وَناةٌ | ——> | أَناةٌ |
