Khabr āḥād can be categorised into the following types:

Ṣaḥīḥ[1]
1. Ṣaḥīḥ li dhātihī
2. Ṣaḥīḥ li ghayrihī
Ḥasan[2]
1. Ḥasan li dhātihī
2. Ḥasan li ghayrihī
Ḍaīf[3]

[1] Literally; healthy or sound.

[2] Literally: beautiful.

[3] Literally; weak.
